Penetration Testers (AI Offensive Security)

Location: Remote | Position: Contract | Ref: B8PSRE01

  • Overview

    The Penetration Tester plays a critical role in validating and enhancing AI-driven penetration testing outcomes. Working alongside an advanced AI platform, this role focuses on verifying findings, reducing false positives, and ensuring real-world exploitability. You will combine human expertise with machine-scale testing to deliver high-confidence security insights, while continuously improving the underlying AI models.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Validate and triage vulnerabilities identified by the AI penetration testing platform

    • Perform manual verification and exploitation to confirm real-world impact

    • Eliminate false positives and enrich findings with technical and business context

    • Execute targeted manual testing to complement AI-generated results

    • Develop proof-of-concepts to demonstrate exploitability and risk

    • Produce high-quality, client-ready reports with clear remediation guidance

    • Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to improve AI model accuracy

    • Provide structured feedback to enhance detection logic, coverage, and precision

    • Contribute to training data, testing methodologies, and continuous model refinement

    • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attacker techniques

    Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience in penetration testing or offensive security

    • Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10, logic flaws, misconfigurations)

    • Experience with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, and similar

    • Ability to validate, chain, and contextualise vulnerabilities identified through automated systems

    • Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and authentication mechanisms

    • Understanding of cloud environments

    • Analytical mindset with the ability to distinguish signal from noise in large datasets

    AI & Data-Oriented Capabilities

    • Experience working with automated security tools or AI-assisted platforms

    • Ability to provide structured feedback to improve model performance

    • Understanding of how data quality impacts detection accuracy

    • Interest in contributing to AI model training, tuning, and evaluation

    Qualifications & Certifications (Desirable)

    • OSCP, OSWE, CREST CRT/CCT, or equivalent

    • Degree in Cyber Security, IT, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Overview

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth by positioning a next-generation, AI-powered penetration testing platform to market. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and articulating the value of AI-augmented security testing. You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world client outcomes, helping organisations modernise how they approach security assurance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across target markets

    • Position AI-driven penetration testing as a differentiated alternative to traditional services

    • Build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound, inbound, and partner channels

    • Engage with senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO) to understand security challenges and priorities

    • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value and ROI

    • Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from initial engagement through to contract execution

    • Collaborate with technical teams to shape tailored solutions and proposals

    • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting

    • Develop strategic partnerships and referral channels

    • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and evolving cyber threats

    AI & Platform Alignment

    • Develop a strong understanding of the AI penetration testing platform and its capabilities

    • Clearly articulate how human validation + AI delivers superior accuracy, speed, and cost outcomes

    • Provide structured market feedback to influence product direction and platform enhancements

    • Work closely with product and engineering teams to align client needs with platform evolution

    • Help refine messaging based on real-world client interactions and objections

    Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within cyber security or technology

    • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets

    • Ability to sell complex, technical solutions in a clear and compelling way

    • Experience engaging with senior decision-makers and navigating enterprise sales cycles

    • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and closing skills

    • Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships

    Qualifications (Desirable)

    • Background in Cyber Security, IT, or a related field

    • Experience selling penetration testing, managed security services, or SaaS platforms
